Help please?

Okay, so this is the first time I actually post something and I kind of feel embarrassed. I'm sorry if I am not clear by the way. So recently I feel like a little burn on my outer lips (on my vagina, seriously I don't know the name of the parts of the vagina in English, but this I what google gave me, hope you will know what I'm talking about.) and I realized that there was a little bump, it hurt a little, nothing unbearable, but do any of you know what it could be? I never had any sexual activities or any contact and I am a little embarrassed about talking about it to my doctor... Do you think I should?
