My husband and I are expecting our 4th and final child on around November 17th. We've always vaccinated and never really thought twice about it. We've always been pretty open about having visitors come to the hospital and even our house after each of our kids were born. Same still applies except for that we have some really good friends (practically family) move up to where we live from Virginia after our husbands got out of the Marine Corps.

Their daughter is about 1.5 and hasn't had a single vaccination or doctors visit since she was released from the hospital. I can honestly say I'm terrified to have their daughter around ours until OURS is vaccinated which is around 6 weeks. Is it reasonable to ask she not bring her baby around for 6 weeks? I have no idea what to say to her without offending her. :(

Am I overreacting or do I have legitimate concerns?
