I applied to these credit union jobs. 4 different positions in this specific credit union because it's local and all others in the area require "at least 1 year banking experience" (how do you get experience if all these places require experience?). They're super amazing to their employees and take care of them with good benefits and decent pay.
.
Anyway, my FIL actually is a manager in one of the branches and has been keeping me in the know as to why it's been taking so long. (It's been about a month with no call, not even a preliminary one... and I applied over a month after the position had been posted). My FIL just contacted me and told me that the hiring manager of another branch printed out my info and will be calling me soon. The position is only part time (24 hours a week) but that's better than nothing AND they usually promote their part timers to full timers when full time positions open up (makes sense), and that positions open up at a decent rate because of a lot of FT working students that move onto their career almost every spring, if not earlier.

Some positive thoughts would be really appreciated, as I really need A job... but also really WANT THIS SPECIFIC JOB. I've been worrying and thinking about having to apply for fast food places, but I know they won't accommodate my disability because they haven't before (I've worked it before) and I didn't want to get hired just to be fired in a month. I'm an amazing worker if you allow for the small amount of things I just can't do.
