Twitching baby??

Hendrix is 9 days old and I've noticed his leg twitches and then today his whole body starts twitches randomly. Is this normal with newborns?

My boys all twitched. Their nervous system is very immature right now. The leg twitching ur super normal. None of mine had body twitches so I might bring it up to the dr. But unless it appears to be seizures, I'd probably chalk most of that behavior up to immature nervous system

My newborn did it a lot when he was born to its just reflexes at least that's what my doctor told me. Eventually it will stop and they will have more control over there bodies

My LO is 2 weeks and she does the same thing..was worried at first but I remembered I used to feel the same thing when I was pregnant with her..

Yesss I thought there was something wrong with my son buy he grew out of it . its scary but that's just what they do.

Yes I've seen this with all three of my kids. But always check his doctor about your concerns.

I dont know about the whole body but When his legs start to twitch touch it and it should stop if not might wanna tell his pediatrician about it..
