Working Girl

Miranda

Okay soooo I need some advice.

I've been working as a customer service associate for a grocery store for about a year and a half now. Almost a year ago now, we got a new grocery lead who is also an hourly manager (its different than our salary management). Since the moment I saw him I've been just drawn to him in ways I can't explain. We developed a friendship, have talked practically all day every day since we met, and somewhere all long the way discovered we have feelings for each other. He's even said on several occasions that I'm the marrying type and told me we could movie away together. We started dating in June and he's literally been one of the best parts of this year to me. Unfortunately we broke up after only 2 months, but it's always been very unclear to me exactly why we broke up. It's obvious that we care for each other very deeply and we still talk all the time, hang out and basically act like we're still a couple. In fact, I stayed at his house last night (no sex) after work. Anyway, tomorrow I have an interview for a promotion at another store to be a full time customer service lead and become an hourly manager. I told him about it a few days ago because it wasn't something I felt comfortable keeping from him and I was anxious to know how he would react. I know that when we were dating he was a little uncomfortable with the fact we worked together and in certain situations was my direct manager (but only when he was the only MOD at the store) however when I stayed the night at his house last night it was the first time since we broke up that he cuddled me as we fell asleep. I've stayed at his house a couple times since we broke up and we always sleep in the same bed and I'll scratch his back and he'll rub mine before we go to sleep, but last night he actually cuddled me. I don't want to make this post forever long, I guess I'm just looking for advice and opinions from others. There's a lot more information so I guess yall can just ask me questions if you need more information to help with advice. Thanks for everything!
