Big baby?

So today I had my 36 week sono and they told my husband and I that our son is already 6 and a half pounds, anyone else had a baby that big at 36 weeks? Hubby is excited about his weight but I'm terrified for my vag lol they also said he is head down and his head is really low and he's healthy and in position.

Ultrasound weight estimates are notoriously unreliable. So your child could very well be that big already, but it could also be smaller.

We measured at 7# 10 oz today at 35+2! Scheduled another scan for 38 weeks. Everything else is looking great, so far, no pressure for induction

I had my growth scan yesterday at 36weeks & 2days, the ultrasound said my baby boy is weighing in at 7lbs 14oz. 
I KNOW that ultrasounds are guesstimations, but still that's big for my 1st, lol.

Am 37 weeks now and measuring 41 weeks(baby is not me) He not as chubby as my 9lb baby was but he super long. 
He expected to be here in a few days. 
I had a natural birth with a 9lb.

Last week i was 36wks and my baby was 7lb 3 oz already. Chubby babies are cute so dont worry if you have a lil chunker lol my first was 8lbs

Haha baby girl was over 5 lbs at 32 weeks😂 I don't even really want them to tell me their guess at my 36 wks scan next week hahaha...however, as another poster mentioned, scans are notoriously inaccurate. My first child was supposed to be 8-9 lbs AT term. Born at 41+2 he was 7 lbs 13 oz, so their guesses were wrong! 😊
