What should I do? /tmi no pic

I'm 38 weeks today. I have been up and down all night with contractions. No less than 15 minutes apart and sometimes 30/35. My panties have felt wet all day but no gush of fluids. I have an OB appt today at 1:45 pm but it's only 2:30 am. Should I just wait it out and see what happens or call and go in earlier?!

This is basically exactly what happened to me when I went into labor. I just timed the contractions and waited until my drs office opened at 7am and called. They moved my appointment time up a bit since my contractions were about 10 min apart at that point. When I went in the doctor checked me, said that she too believed I was indeed in labor and dilated to 3/4 and 80% effaced, and sent me home to labor there until contractions were 5 min apart. I headed into the hospital when they were about 7min apart because i couldn't take the pain anymore. Turns out I was dilated to 5 already and gave birth super early the next day!

Thank you! I called, talked to the OB and he said I can come in and get checked now or wait and get checked but to keep an eye on the time in between and said it seems like I'm progressing and that at any point I feel too uncomfortable to come in and they will assess me. I'm gonna wait to see if they get closer and stronger 😳
