I'm really down right now because I so badly wanted to breastfeed my son. It started out where it was painful I went to a breastfeeding support class and the nurse helped me to get him to latch on. He did, with no problem, unfortunately when I got home and it was time to feed him I couldn't get him to latch on without it being painful, then when I finally did get it right I could hear him swallowing then I didnt hear him at all. This makes me think he isn't getting anything then an hour later he cries out and shows hunger cues which automatically gets me back to thinking OK he definitely isn't getting milk. I am pumping but I can't even get enough in one day to get 6 oz, and then on top of that I want to build a stash so he will enough when I return to work...🙁😔...help, I'll love some advice on what to do to get him to latch on or increase my milk supply
