Cleft affect baby. What would you do?

If you knew at 20 weeks pregnancy that your baby would be born with a cleft lip and palate, what would you do? No judgments here, answer with the best of your knowledge and feelings about this situation.

Um have the child and continue my pregnancy like normal? I hope that's the only option for most. If you can't get over the fact your child may look a little different than others then you shouldn't have kids. Kids don't come out perfect. This isn't build a kid, it's life.  And cleft lips can be fixed anyways so...

I'm wondering how anyone could ever consider not having a cleft baby, this is a ridiculous question they love the same they are just as cute as every other baby and they get to different smiles I'm going to miss his smile when it's gone next month surgeon at the same time I can't wait to see his new smile

What would you do, meaning would you keep the child or choose abortion?? I really hope no one would ever consider abortion due to a child's appearance. Because that's all it is, cleft lips and pallets can be fixed. I'm very pro choice but I personally don't think that would ever be an acceptable reason for abortion. Just my opinion tho

I'd carry to term but I'd be very nervous about the severity of their condition. I know they're more likely to have speech and hearing problems so I'd hope that isn't the case only because I wouldn't want them to face so many issues from the get go. But if they do have those problems I would adjust and still love them dearly. Cleft lips/palettes aren't necessarily bad, but it can be linked to other issues so I understand why that condition could worry someone.

Do my research about the condition and then start saving up for the surgery. I've heard some insurance companies won't cover it anymore.

They're fixable with surgery. If the baby was otherwise healthy, I'd go ahead and happily have myself a little baby.
