My dad who is 77 years old was just diagnosed with lung cancer and prostate cancer. His cancer is pretty advanced at this stage, they found it spreading to his lymph nodes and on his bones. He's been in a lot of pain for a very long time (years) but refused to see a doctor up until a few weeks ago when he got his diagnoses, so, who knows how long he's had this already... He's really weak and barely able to get around on his own anymore & he isn't eating very well. They started him on chemo & he's been in good spirits and staying positive but I'm scared. What is the outlook for someone so old and with 2 types of cancers? I'm due with my 1st baby in December and I really want him to meet his grand baby. Does anyone have any experience with these types of cancers in their families? Personal experiences? Thank you.
