Sangría wine. Safe or not?

5 days pp. Breast feeding & wondering if  it is safe to drink a glass of sangría wine. If so, how does the pump & dump method work? Thanks for all responses.

I just read about this online :) it said one glass it fine to nurse after. If you have more than one you'll want to wait until the alcohol is out of your system. And if you have to release you can pump and dump.

With my daughter someone at her baby shower got me breast milk test strips to test for alcohol I'm not sure where they got them but I'm sure you could find them online actually came in handy

Unless you FEEL the wine in your system you are fine to nurse. You don't have to wait, you don't have to pump and dump, and you don't have to feel guilty. If you are super worried about it there are test strips you can dip in your milk to see if alcohol is present.

I've read that it's fine to drink while breastfeeding. Just don't pump or feed for 2 hours after a drink.
