So I went in today to get a root canal, the dentists had told me it was an emergency and I couldn't wait until after I had the baby. (I'm 19 weeks pregnant) so at first they used the local anesthetic that they said they use for pregnant women, it doesn't contain that one drug that's in the regular one. They attempted 3 times and my mouth wasn't getting numb enough to do the root canal so then they admistered the one they use everyday for normal people and my heart raced for a second. I'm freaking out because I'm pretty sure they weren't suppose to use that one!! Has anybody been through it? Is it a threat to my baby ?? I don't want another loss :(
