When is everyone or a good time to go on maternity leave? I am a waitress

I will go on leave the week of my due date 😕, because here, in the greatest country in the world, I am afforded a whopping 12 weeks of FMLA. Of course it's unpaid, but thank goodness I bought long term disability insurance.

Lol I work at a desk so I can sit at home or sit at work and get paid lol after 12 weeks my husband and I decided to cut my hours down to 32 a week anyway which isn't bad.. 
Not hard work and only 6 hours a day and about hospital is 15 min from my work (and my house is 5 minutes from hospital)
Only thing I'm worried about is who cleans up if my water breaks at work? Not me, baby time!

Hey am a beauty therapist and my Lower back is hurting already 🙈 so I have told my work my last day is 8th December, and I can't wait to finish. We can't wait to have Christmas and new year off from work as I have always worked them.

I'm in London I get 52 weeks but after the first 6 my pay goes to less then half of what  I normally make I'm due Feb 11th and aiming to go Jan 1st

I booked my maternity leave to start at 39 weeks (a week before my due date), if my baby girl comes early then I'll adjust. I'd rather work later into my pregnancy to have more time home with her. I wouldn't want to be off weeks before my due date then have her arrive late!

I'm in Canada so I get 52 weeks off. My work tops up the government maternity pay so I'll get almost full salary for the year then I'll take 2 weeks vacation at the end of my leave for a total of 54 weeks.

My doctor is scheduling me a week before my due date so I'm trying to save up my vacation days and take a week off before then so maternity leave can start on the day I deliver.
