pregnancy tumor

Hi all, I posted about this already but have more questions. I've had a pregnancy tumor on my gums for several months now and had it removed 2 times during pregnancy, but it came back in 2-3 weeks. The surgeon didn't want to remove the whole thing because he said it could leave a scar. I know some go away after birth but this seems too big. I had my son 3 days ago so I know I should be patient, but my question is for those who have had it: how long after birth did yours disappear? Did it disappear completely? If you had it removed after birth, how long did you wait? Thanks ladies!
