What Birth Control Do You Use??

Hey ladies, so I have been on birth control since I was 14, it has been ten years now and my husband is deployed in Afghanistan. 
So during this deployment I decided to stop taking my birth control seeing as the only action I would me getting for a year is from myself.
This was a mistake, my period was so crazy irregular and my cramps and other PMS symptoms were to the extreme. 
So naturally I started taking my same birth control again only I noticed side effects that I never had before like significant weight gain. 
What pill do you ladies swear by?! I need help!

I take Ortho-Tricyclen. The generic names of this pill that I've taken are Tri-linyah and Tri-estarylla. It hasn't effected my weight whatsoever, although everyone reacts to medications differently. I'll pray for you and your boyfriend :) remember, love can always make it 💕

Same dose everytime kind- helps with mood swings n no weight gain side effects Also unfortunately, ur body may just b getting used to it again, even tho u didn't have it b4, might b bc u haven't taken it so long but even then- 6 months and those effects should go away (unless it was depression then nuuuu talk to doctor right away Either way, marlissa has been amaxing for me- it's just off brand kind of same dose everytime pill versus the escalating estrogen kind do I suggest that one, especially if weight gain is concerning u >,< works rly great for me! ;}. I'm currently on Alysena 28, so is one of my bestie, we're on the generic brand. Although, we both despise that pill: bloating, weight gain, odd side effets for the first three months. On the other hand, another one of my besties is on Cyclen and she loves it and never had any side effets. The best would be try a generic brand and then switch if you get side effets. You just have to find the right one for you, as every pill works differently for everyone.
