We have a toddler & are a family of 3 until baby boy is born this December. Want to take baby girl to something just us 3 without having my MIL or anyone else interfere. She took the pumpkin patch idea from me & it hurt my feelings but oh well. Now I have to think of something else for us 3 to do before the new baby so my daughter can transition into being a big sister etc. we want to do something special for her like a small day at the zoo we have already done but we didn't get to by ourselves. It's like the in laws always have to be present for every little thing. So not liking it. So I cried to my husband this morning over it & he promised we would be okay and take her out somewhere special just us. Which I have wanted a long time but that doesn't happen with controlling people that just invite themselves without asking hey do you care if we tag along. No! They always just join in and plan our day for us. It's like they have my husband at the balls. Sick of it. Anyways, hormones I'm sure too but it's irritating. Anyways suggestions besides the zoo, the movies or the fair.
