I'm a first time mom and was originally due November 14th, I discovered I had a short cervix at 21 weeks and was on bedrest in the hospital from 23 weeks until 30 weeks. They realeased me September 8th with no cervical length left at all, I carried my sweet girl for five more weeks(or one day short of 5 weeks) on light duty! My water broke at 34 weeks and 6 days! I had no huge indicators I was even in labor, I had severe back pain and lower pelvis cramping... thinking I did too much that day I went to bed around 11 pm and slept through the entire night. I woke up at about 7:20 to go pee and when I was crawling back into bed my water broke, my contractions came on fast and furious 2-3 minutes apart. I had to make a 45 minute ride to the hospital! I arrived at 5 cms and within 20 minutes I was fully dilated ready to push. I had my sweet baby girl all natural! She suffered severe bruising from being face up hitting against my pelvis but she came out screaming and perfect ❤️ she had really low blood sugar so they took her to nicu where she has been ever since! The only thing holding us in here is her jaundice levels! Praying we get to go home very soon 🙏🏼❤️
