Real situation.

Pretend you're power is down and you want to dry your clothes before they smell mildewy, plus you need dry scrubs for work later. You don't have a clothes line but there's a support cable to the power pole of your house that looks promising, so you grab your clothes pins and put up a small load of laundry on this support cable. It looks hilarious but you do what you have to, right?

Part of said load of laundry was your reusable pads and underwear. Mind you that you're in the country and are a mile from the nearest road so no neighbors can see your house, let alone this support cable. The carpenter, who's fixing the roof of you storage shed that's nearly a football field away from the house comes to have lunch on the patio with his son (who's probably 17). He asks you to remove your pads and underwear from the line so they can eat without seeing them and mention how it looks "red-neck" besides that. They aren't kidding.
