what do you do when a baby's hair grows too fast?

I'm assuming my son will be born with a full head of hair. Myself and my SO both hands lots of hair as babies. But I'm wondering what you do with a boys hair if it's growing really fast. I don't think haircuts are safe until the soft spot is fully closed which can take a while. But I don't want my son to have this giant fro before he can even walk lol. My hair grows fast and if he's like me he'll be looking like he has a wig on as an infant.

My brother was born with a full head of hair but most of it fell out especially in the back because when they're that little they lay all the time. I also don't think your sons hair is going to crow to be excessively long before he's big enough for a hair cut.

You should worry when it happens. I have lots of hair but was bald as a baby up until 3 . Both of my children were born with hair, my son has lots of it like a girl. Yes people mistook him for a girl from time to time but it didn't bother me. I cut his hair when he was ready at 4.

My son was born with a lot of dark dark hair and didn't have a haircut until he was two. His hair never fell out but became very VERY blonde. His hair was curly until the haircut. Then it went straight. It was maybe 4-5 inches long when it was cut and we took it down to two inches. Speaking of which I need to ask my dad when he's going to the barber again... It's grandpa's thing with his grandson to get a haircut.

My daughter hair grew fast . It never fell out . I used to wash it and throw head bands on her with a small amount of coconut oil. Once she turned 6 months I started to do ponytails and braids once in a while. I'm thinking my son will be born with a ton of hair too and I plan on doing the same washing and using small amount of coconut oil and then braiding it once he turn 6 months .  But he'll get a hair cut at a year . His dad isn't with the hair thing lol

Usually baby hair falls out and whats called terminal hair takes its place..im a hairdresser..sometimes noticable..sometimes not..Some people come in to shave babies head to let hair all come in evenly.
