I need help
I just had my baby via c-section 10/13 & he is less than 48 hours old. These doctors are basically telling me he can't be discharged with me to go home until he drinks 30ml of formula 8 times a day for two days in a row by himself without a tube. My son has been drinking as much as he can, & the rest, they force feed him thru a tube. They have told me NUMEROUS times "he's healthy, he's fine, his blood work is normal, etc." Is this an actual requirement in order for your child to be sent home? Someone please help me because I've never heard of this policy before.
EDIT: HE'S IN NICU BUT I'M NOT SURE WHY. THEY KEEP TELLING ME HE'S OK, SO I'M NOT SURE WHY HE'S THERE (SORRY MY CAPS LOCK WAS LOCKED FOR SOME REASON)
