Yup. My brother and mom tried to kill me twice on "accident". I have such a great fam.

I have one against an ex, it took 4 months for me to get but he threatened me infront of the judge which got him a 3 year order, that is immediately reapplied for when it's up. If you really need one then chances are they will ignore it as it is just a piece of paper but it's good to have as police can deal with incidents quickly when it's shown, I still carry a copy of mine in my purse even though it's been a long time, I just feel safer with it as any shop/bar security can step in till police are there when they've seen it.

Yes. Someone I knew broke into my house and I was granted an immediate temporary restraining order. Went to court and was granted another one for 3 months.

Ive tried to file for one twice (different people) but ive never been taken seriously by the police around here
