6w 4d light Brown spotting

I am 6w 4d and yesterday when I went potty I had a light brown discharge. At first I automatically thought miscarriage, because I recently had one in April, but I am in no pain, and the discharge is brown, not red. Should I be alarmed? Due to the weekend I can't call the dr office, but my husband wants to go to the ER. I want to wait and see what happens. Any advice?
