I don't understand why the doctors withhold info
I'll try to make a long story short. My fiancé has polyps on his gallbladder. The largest is 8 mm in size and we've been told if it gets to a 10 there's a likelihood for cancer and that the gallbladder should be removed. We've also been told gallbladder cancer is rare (thank goodness) so my fiancé went back and had a follow up ultra sound after 6 months to check the sizes of the polyps and now they haven't told him what size it's at but that it's "relatively similar to before." Then we get online to look at the test results and see in the comments to "follow up with ultrasounds and a cholecystectomy which is the removal of the gallbladder but they never told him that over the phone. This makes us feel like they're withholding info or just skipping out on it but we can't understand why. If they're saying to follow up with surgery, why the he'll wouldn't they tell us that?!
