My bf of 2 years always tells me how much money him and his family have (idk how true it really is) and he always sends me videos on snapchat of so many bills, like fifties or hundreds. Hes always buying designer items, like true religion jeans, versace sunglasses etc however, im end up paying more than half of the time when we go out. Plus i sometimes buy him things like shirts etc, also we have a formal coming up and i bought both his and mine tickets which he was completely aware of before i even purchased it so it wasnt a surprise. Anyways, im not really the type of girl to say buy me this or buy me that, plus i always offer to pay. Is it weird that he doesnt even think to spend a bit of money on me? not even surprise me with a bag of chips or something? i never really cared but now im realizing how much i spend but he doesnt do the same. His family is more wealthier than mine plus earns more than i do (i dont work atm). He always tells me "oh im going to buy u a promise ring" or "dw baby ill buy it for u" bur never does. Sometimes i just hint to him things that i would like that is very inexspensive in the hopes that he might surprise me one day, but he doesnt and it kind of sucks. i dont know why i still do that because he wont do anything. it would just be nice to be surprised a little to show appreciation i guess
