toasted subway deli meat safe?

Regret eating it only cus I'm so paranoid but I figured since it's toasted it's safe right

It's fine. During my first pregnancy it was all I craved. I was DYING for a club sandwich and called my doctor in tears because wanted it so bad but I thought I couldn't have any. He just laughed and said, "Ashley, go eat a damn sandwich!" 😂

All I have been craving is sub sandwiches. I get the roasted chicken and have them toast it because I like it that way, but honestly if I wanted anything else I would get it also. I'm taking everything in moderation this pregnancy. You have to eat and if that's what my body wants to keep down then so be it!

Side note: Now I want a club sandwich! 😍

At my 8 week appt I asked my Obgyn about it bc I love subway and she said it's perfectly fine as long as you get it toasted!

I always get the roasted chicken its less embarrassing for me to ask them to heat it separately and the stores here actually get that request so often they automatically heat it before toasting

Haha thanks ladies! I was like oh I got it toasted but was it steaming or not?! Lmao because someone said it had to be steaming and I couldn't remember. It's the first deli meat I've eaten pregnant but I plan to only do it every once in a while ahah
