Have You Ever Shared A 1 Bedroom With A Baby?

I know this isn't the right room for this but my questions get ignored in others lol not enough members. But have you? Our lease is ending soon and we're TTC and considering moving, but want to live somewhere nice, and nice 2 bedroom apartments are a tad out of our price range, rental properties are outrageous here. We have a 2 bedroom now but in an older apartment building with a lot of problems. I plan to sidecar a 3 sided crib so that baby will be close and easiest to breastfeed but not actually in the bed with us (hubs is a heavy sleeper and often pushes me to the very edge of my side so I wouldn't feel comfortable with co sleeping) so I don't really need a second bedroom for that... although i think I would miss decorating a baby room. Idk lol. We're only going to rent until summer 2018 so at most baby would be 1 year old when we moved from a new apartment. Personal experiences anyone?

I'm due in 7 weeks and my daughter is gonna be in the room with me till I move from my mom house. Me and my boyfriend are here till I start back working since he's the only one with an income. I'm putting her crib in here and I can fit a bassinet if I want too. I have an apartment that's under construction and won't be ready till 2017 and I don't know how long I will be here. I don't mine even being here a year, I'm pretty sure my baby would still be in my room if I had a 2 bedroom.

Yep. My son shared a room with me until he was about 18 months. At first he was in a bassinet bedside. Once he was too big, I put him in a crib. I was single, so there were a lot of things I didn't have to worry about in regards to private time with my partner.

I never post on here but..... My son will be 2 next month and my boyfriend and I have shared a room with him since he was 5 months old! We were living with family while we bought our house but now we have lived in our house two weeks and he has his own room now and he sleeps amazing by him self! He shared the room with us but the only time he co slept with us was when he was super sick! But sharing a room with you're little isn't a bad choice or idea! It's really if you have the space for them to have there own room! But good luck with which  you choice! :)

My husband and I live in a one bedroom in law, our baby daughter's crib is right next to our bed. She's about to be 1 month and we're temp staying with my parents for the extra help. When we go back to our place she'll be close to 4 months.

My husband and I lived in a studio apartment with my visiting 18 month old stepson until he was around four. Then we moved to a one bedroom and had my daughter. We don't mind being in each other's space though. We shared a bed with my stepson until I got pregnant. We moved him to his own bed in our room and then in the living room because, let's just say my morning sickness was disturbing at any and all hours! My daughter has a crib in our room but sleeps in our bed through the night and we love it.

It just depends on how comfortable you are with having less things altogether, storing things creatively, and things like not wanting to go in your bedroom if the baby is napping in there. And I will say ours is a rather big one bedroom with three roomy closets, my parents have a huge garage and let us store things, and we don't have a table and chairs, just a small coffee table.
