chlamydia resistant to the antibiotic or...

Has anyone ever gotten chlamydia and taken the antibiotics but not had their chlamydia go away? I'm starting to panic because I took the antibiotics on Friday (2 days ago) and I still feel like I have it AND the guy who I've been sleeping with is showing symptoms still and he also took the medicine on Friday. Could it be because we both have some other STI/STD?
