I'm freaking!!!

I've been up since about 4:30am because sleep is nonexistent lately. I started having contractions but of course, they stopped. I've been dilating for 4 weeks now and the waiting game is atrocious! (I'm 36 weeks btw) But anywho, baby girl has been head down since my 21 week scan, hiccuping very low in my pelvic and hip area at least 3 times a day. They gave me another scan at 32 weeks and she was still head down in great position. Well, this morning, she got the hiccups as usual, but now they are under my ribs. Like WTF?! I've never had breech issues before! Common sense tells me that a baby being breech isn't a terrible thing but everyone acts like is a cesarean sentence! I'm freaking!!! Like why would she turn this late in pregnancy? Sigh. I have an ultrasound scheduled in 2 days but I'm afraid I'll go into labor by then! I'm trying to relax because I have an irritable uterus but geesh! Anyone else's baby turn this late or is just breech anyway? What is your doctor saying?
