When will you start buying things for baby??

Hi all, just looking for your advise since I'm a first time mum. When would you advise to start buying things for baby? I'm going to leave the big things like buggy, cot etc until after xmas, but is it too soon now to start picking up the odd baby grow or nappies wipes etc? Keen to know your thoughts xxx

Immediately we find out the sex of our babies and mostly especially during xmas period to get stuffs on sales😊

I have started buying things. I have loads already. Even the big stuff like a pram,car seat etc. Stuff isn't cheap and it's easier to spread the cost over time and be well prepared for baby arriving.

I was planning on waiting till after my 20 week scan. Won't buy the larger items till much closer to the birth.

I am planing to wait until week 30 or longer as where I come from is bad luck buying baby bits before the actual birth ..... I will get few essentials  for hospital bag and car seat and buy more when we are back from hospital.
