What diapers do you recommend?

I'm a FTM. Baby is due is 2 months. I want to stock up on diapers here soon. And also, what sizes should I stock up on? I'm not familiar with diaper sizes. Never babysat or had any younger siblings/relatives.

Keep in mind that you need to find what works for your baby as well. Babies can be sensitive to different diapers. I always buy small or trial packs and try them before I open my huge boxes. I personally love pampers swaddlers and Huggies but my 2nd child broke out really bad from huggies. Don't be afraid to try off brand as well.. some are just as good as name brand.

Every one has their own preferences.. Mine happens to be luvs & pampers swaddlers. Never had to many problems with leaking or separateing with luvs. They are my favorite.

I would say pampers. I've used their brand on all 3 of my kids. Never have I ever had a leak or busting in their diapers. I've tried many other brands like huggies,luvs,parentchoice, even store brands and pampers where my favorite.

Dont buy too much for NB, maybe a case is good enough. Pampers swaddlers and huggies are good. Right now im using kirkland diapers and they're ok. I also use costco wipes too and theyre much better compared to others

We used pampers for nb size. And after that we use Costco brand diapers. The only reason we use pampers is cause Costco doesn't make nb size diapers. We are on our 3rd boy and have tried EVERY SINGLE diaper brand and none of them are as awesome as Costco diapers.

I like Huggies and Pampers. Luvs are not bad, Parents choice is cheap and ok. I really didn't like Target brand.

For newborn we always use Pampers Swaddlers (NB size) Size 1's start at baby's weight being 8 lbs. That's when we switch to Luvs. They're cheaper and I've never had a problem with leaks, etc. with them.

The diaper size depends on a babies weight. Most people use 1-2 boxes of newborns and then move up to size 1 once their baby hits the size 1 weight or once they start leaking out of their newborns  (weight will be on the box). Pampers swaddlers are probably the most popular and they work great! They are a tad expensive though. We use up and up brand (targets brand) during the day (to save money) and pampers swaddlers for overnight. Both have a wetness indicator line on the diaper so you know how full the diaper is.
