Not really controversial, but should I vote early?

It's my first vote☑️🎉! At first I thought of waiting so I could vote on the day, but I have a lot of school to do and the holidays are coming up. I'm also a little worried about people trying to interfere. Then again, it's my first vote and I want it to be special.

I've never waited in line for more than a minute at my polling place, which is kind of sad. Voter turnout is always embarrassingly low. People talk a good game about who they'll vote for, but that's sure not reflected in voter turnout.

I work for the post office, and I'm mortified to say that not all early/absentee ballots make it in (we had a Town Clerk that never picked up their mail, they didn't get ballots until two weeks AFTER the election). If you do vote early, see if you can do it right at your town clerks office.

There's nothing really that special about it. You just go in, vote, and leave. Mine was boring and all local government stuff. It's really not a big special thing

If you're confident in your decision, definitely vote early. Avoid the crowds. I'm out of town until voting day so I'll be votin early cause the last thing I want to do is rush to a polling location right after my plane lands.

If you're at all worried you might be unable to vote on actual day of the election, definitely vote early! Going to the polls on election day is cool, but isn't worth risking not getting the chance to vote in your first election.

If you want. Just make sure to look up what you need to bring with you. My city requires two forms of ID for early voting unlike at Election Day polls.

I've had the chance to vote for the first time in two recent elections and it always was a bit of a let down on the day. You check some boxes and leave. Nobody knows it's your first time and you don't get some special sticker or prize (I sure wish we did because it does feel. SO SPECIAL)

So I vote to just do it when suits you best.
