Umbilical cord?

Ok so here is my scan at 15 weeks. The tech didnt seem sure of her response of a boy. Family has told me this looks like the cord and not a penis . Almost attached to its leg it looks like in the pic. Anyone have opinion or pic to compare to? I could have swore i saw 3 lines before this showed up

Definitely a penis in my opinion. Looks just like my little boys scan at 15weeks

That's my picture at 17 weeks. Doctor didn't confirm but he thinks it's a boy. Everyone told me that's the cord but truly believe I'm having a boy. I'll confirm it tomorrow.

Trust me, as an ultrasound tech, we don't want to be wrong- it's just NOT worth the emotional duress of the mom. (Not to mention the wrath visited upon us by that mom for the next 25 weeks of OB appointments). If the tech guessed boy, she's fairly certain, but not certain enough to clear you to decorate the nursery in pinks or blues. It's not always easy to determine genders. This is especially true if the umbilical cord is draped between the legs, or baby wiggles a lot, or baby sits flush against the uterine wall, or has their hands in there. I can't for sure say what the tech saw, but the pic is fairly convincing of a boy. If ya wanna be absolutely sure, just wait til your next scan.

This was ours at 15ish weeks. The UC was pushing his little weiner down, so I thought he was a girl. The tech knew better though lol, so she waited until he moved a bit and bam, all boy 😂

Looks like a boy of a nub. Techs can tell if it's the cord because cords pulsate. But I was told boy at 16 weeks and I had a girl so wait to be sure until 18-22 weeks but it is some sort of genitals and most likely a boy.
