ruined pregnancy announcement

Anyone else have someone ruin the big 'pregnancy' announcement? This is baby #3 and probably my last and my mother told family even though I wasn't ready and had asked her not to tell people, I'm 7w 1d and haven't had my first appt (my ob does them at 9 weeks) but I wanted to put my 11 mo in an 'I'm being promoted to big brother' or 'big brother in training' shirt and have my older son with him and now my family knows and it took all the fun away and I guess I'm just hormonal but I was really bummed
