a boy as the new face of covergirl?
Recently a male makeup artist was announced as the new face of covergirl, I however completely disagree with this decision.
Covergirl is for girls/women I mean it says it in the title I feel like it's wrong ....there are other makeup company's I.E MAC that he could have been the "face" of. Reading some of the responses on this, a lot of people are pulling the "equality" card ....this has absolutely nothing to do with equal rights first of all this isn't politics, like AVON covergirl has been about women for many many years why the change ....why change something that has been representing women and empowering WOMEN. Yes the marketing would be great for the company there are a lot of male makeup artists but still. The confusion that young women will have when seeing this. I think it's ridiculous, like I said I think MAC would have been a better suit for him just not covergirl.
And before any of you try to say that I am against gay people or the LBGT community do not go there with me. I know a lot of homosexuals, I've worked with them, I have friends that are gay bi and transgender. Do not automatically assume I'm prejudice because of my opinion
