Unusally Bleed

Sunday I started what I thought was my 1st period but now I'm not so sure. The 1st day I had medium bleed and then it slowed the 2nd and 3rd day with only light almost spotting. I also have been passing clots the size of a dime. Last night I didn't bleed at all and today it's been pretty heavy along with the clots. Has this happen to anyone else ?
