Cat 😿

There's a cat that is always outside my boyfriends mums house, she never goes home and I don't think she ever gets fed. Every time we come over she is outside, if we open the back door she comes running in and goes straight to the cat food bowl in the kitchen looking for food 😭 idk the story but I don't think something's right and I think the cats pregnant as she is quite big. Can I just take the cat? Or shall I contact a cat protection company? I'm lit crying right now so upset 😔
