Anyone else have there SO check their cervix?😂

My man is the bees knees. I've been having frequent contractions for the past 2 weeks and he learned how to check my cervix for dilation so we don't have to keep running back to the doctor before I'm in active labor! 
He just checked me and I'm finally just over 3cm!! Almost there! Woohoo! Gonna bounce on my birthing ball through these contractions and hopefully in the morning I've hit 4cm! 😍 
Thank goodness for my amazing hubby❤️

My partner is a physician and I'm looking forward to being able to have him check me when things start to feel like they're moving along so I can't lessen my time stuck in a hospital bed. 
He's brining home gloves and lube to keep it as safe as possible, and has warned me he won't be doing them all the time, but it's nice to know he can.

Yes! My midwife absolutely said this is ok. Unlike at the doctors office or the hospital the germs  (he should of course wash his hands)  that are introduced are ours from our home. It's no different from him fingering me or having intercourse. Last night he felt my cervix without me being on my fists which means me cervix is no longer posterior and dais it was soft with no hardness as felt before. He also could get his finger in which leads me to believe I'm at least a cm dialted. 😊 so all these contractions are doing something.
