I've had mirena for almost a year. Before i had it in I never had a regular period, usually once every other month and very light so it dragged out for over a week. The first 3 months of mirena i was spotting very lightly almost everyday. Then I had nothing until 2 months ago i got a very light period. Then I got another period last month and there was a weird smell with it and a yellowish discharge. it's not a foul or fish smell but it's strong and much different than my normal smell, kind of sour or acidic smelling. After my spotting stopped last month the smell started going away. But i just started spotting again a few days ago and the smell has come back. Has anyone had this as well or know how to get rid of the smell? Thanks!
