Do you give you child Multivitamin w/ fluoride, as suggested by most pediatricians

Daniella
As an EBF mom, my LO suggested vitamin D drops. Due to the low amount of vitamin D in breast milk and lack of sunlight newborns get. Fine! Makes sense.
So her doc prescribed my now 7 month old a multivitamin (A, C, D with flouride). As a first time mom, I didn't question much. She's the doctor, she knows what's best! After a talk with some colleagues and some research. I find out breastfed babies don't need any additional vitamin A, as there is a sufficient amount in breast milk. Vitamin C isn't necessary at such a young age.  And flouride is basically toxic! I'm so angry that her doctor would prescribe such a thing if it wasn't necessary and harmful in the long run!
