When did your OB start checking your cervix?

I am 35 weeks and had a checkup on Tuesday. They did the Group B strep test, and I thought they'd check my cervix while they were at it, but they didn't. At what week did your doctor start doing the checks? 36? I am anxious to see if I'm dilating or not!

Mine starts at 39 weeks.

I'm a STM and they checked at my 35 week apt (which I went to at 35.5 wks). I was 1 cm. For the record, I HATE cervix checks. I find them more painful than having the baby 😫

36 weeks. I'm not letting her tell me the results any more. It kinda psyches you out if you're not dilated yet. It really has no bearing on how fast you are gonna labor. Unless of course you're above a 3!

My doctor doesn't check unless you want them to and they will start at 36 weeks. I likely won't be checked until I am in labor.

My OB told me they start checking at 36weeks, but every OB on staff (about 6 where I go) does their own thing. I got checked yesterday at 37weeks & 2days, I'm 1cm dilated & 50% effaced.

Mine started at 34 weeks. I'm almost 36 weeks and 1 cm dialated. Baby has been head down for two weeks now.
