Conceiving after c-section?

How long did you wait to start trying to conceive after having a c-section? Did you have any trouble?

My doctor said to wait at least a year to make sure that my uterine incision was healed well so that I wouldn't have trouble with the placenta trying to grow through any openings.

I had a planned c section August 3rd. We're thinking of me coming off pill around Christmas. Bubs will be almost 5 months. I got pregnant 5 weeks after coming off pill last time so fingers crossed all goes well again.

My dr said to wait atleast 6 months.
just because the cut us stikk fresh and with a baby growing and stretching ur unhealed cut can be life threatening to u and the baby. We can literally rip open.

I don't know about c section but vaginal they recommend waiting three cycles( periods) but it can take 6 months to a year to fill heal inside, if you get pregnant to fast you uterus and bladder will suffer in the future faster. But for c section I'd bet your ha e to wait a good 6 months to a year so your surgery site can heal on the inside. Call obgyn to be sure
