I always tell people to do this set alarm on your phone for weird time in the middle of the night that you know you guys to be sleep and set the alarm noise to be a crying baby and when he gets up to turn it off the phone has a pregnancy test and some cute note something that says something like getting used to this new phone hey Dad can use to waking up in the middle of the night or no more sleep for Dad excetera excetera

I took the positive test taped it to his mirror in the bathroom and wrote hi daddy I love you already.  I just did it so he has yet to see it
