Do you ask your new (or current) sexual partner to get tested with you?

Do you ask your new (or current) sexual partners to get tested with you before having sex? Everyone knows that people need to get tested for STDs even if you're married or in a stable relationship. Many people say they don't need to get tested because they use condoms. STDs can also be transmitted through oral sex. You can just ask your new partner if they have recently been tested but of course they can lie.

Do you ask your partner to get tested? I've been rejected and have been called a prude by ex boyfriends so many times because I asked for the two of us to get tested. ( Of course they should care that I'm STD free also but that doesn't seem to be the case). I just want to see if I'm the only one like this.
