Water breaking? Comment!

Question

Can your water break while your laying down?? I would think it breaks when your standing up....? 
And if your water breaks in the shower will you know??? Please answer both questions. My mind is confused lol

Yes and yes. 
It can definitely break while laying down. You may gush even more once standing up. And you will continue to leak after it breaks which is why you can still know if it happens in the shower. Not everyone has a big break, sometimes it's a slow leak or just a lot of smaller gushes.  And not everyone has their water break before labor starts, sometimes it's during labor or while you're in the hospital or sometimes dr has to break it in the hospital.

Mine broke while laying down, I woke up because I felt a small gush coming out of me, then another. So I stood up to see what was happening and the rest kept coming!

Your water can break anytime no matter if your lying down or standing up. My water broke when I was sitting down.

If your in the shower, you may not notice right away that it broke but when you get out and dried off and dressed you would feel your underwear become wet. Depends on if it's a small leak or big gush.
