At 6 DPO pregnancy and pms symptoms are exactly the same. Your body is building up progesterone, a pregnancy hormone, to support a pregnancy if implantation occurs (which is around 9 DPO). If no implantation occurs, progesterone production stops and this signals your period. If implantation happens, progesterone production continues and other hormones like HCG (what you text for) are thrown into the mix. But until that point there is no difference to look for. And really, the hormone levels right after implantation are so low that they don't cause any remarkably different symptoms until after the period has been missed. Most of the signs you see are caused by progesterone, which is produced either way until the period hits. Good luck and baby dust! I know the wait absolutely sucks!!! I'm 5 DPO myself.
