I have two boys from a previous relationship and my mom was there for both of their deliveries. My third, with my current SO was a c section and my mom didn't rush to be there because she lives out of town and couldn't have been in the OR anyway. Now for baby 4, I'm hoping for a Vbac and I want my mom in the room. I already know she's helpful for me in labor. My relationship is rocky and my SO stresses me out very easily, and I've pretty much said if he's making things hard on me, I will kick him out. It's creating drama already because he keeps saying if my mom is there, his mom gets to be there. And I don't know how to explain that the labor process is about ME being calm and comfortable and it's not about anyone else until the baby is born. I just feel bad and I don't really want to have to kick him out because I want him to experience his child being born, but ughhhh.
