Say your 5 year old wants to be Minnie mouse for Halloween but wants to paint herself black...

Yeah so my 5 year old daughter wants to go as Minnie mouse for Halloween but wants to look exactly like her. Which originally I was just stoked she didn't want to walk around in underwear like her sister, but the possible problem is she wants to look exactly like minnie. To sum it up she wants to me painted completely black under her costume. Arms, face, legs, all. My gf also made a mouse nose out of a white cone party hat with a black nose on the end. The costume has ears and a tail too. I don't have a picture but it's obvious to me she's supposed to be a mouse. But I'm also still worried about drama which I try to avoid. I personally don't see a issue but am worried about someone starting some shit if they see her. I don't want to have to be super dad if someone attacks her but I don't want to turn her away from her costume she loves because someone might think it's racist. Gf doesn't want her to wear it but she's not the one taking them trick or treating, also feels bad taking it from her.

Yes we tried to get her interested in other costumes. She's obsessed with minnie but doesn't want to not wear paint because it won't be 'real enough'. I just wanted to get a feel from other parents. We live in a typical neighborhood with lots of different races.
