So i had 2 surges, the 12th and the 16th... slight spotting during FMU then nothing on the 19th.. took an opk today for gigs because a girl on my post just got her bfp today.. dont wanna get up to get a hpt. I had a dark second line... heard they can pick up hcg. Thoughts? Gonna buy a hpt asap but im trying not to get my man excited and we share a car..

They may pick up HCG by the time you would be able to get a positive HPT. BUT they are unreliable because LH is always present in your body and fluctuates after ovulation so it may turn positive for no reason. Don't let it get your hopes up but take a HPT to ease your mind.
