Anyone know what the minimum HCG is for first response to show positive ? My dr claimed I had a chemical pregnancy because I was spotting for 3+weeks straight. The spotting has stopped now but when I was spotting it was dark brown or really deep red/brown.It's been 4 weeks since I had my first positive pregnancy test and I still am getting STRONG positives on first response. 1st blood draw showed HCG 222 second draw two days later showed HCG 212. I'm supposed to get third draw this week. LMP was on 09/11 it was lighter than usually and shorter by a day or two. first BFP was on 09/22. Got ultrasound on 09/27 and saw nothing. No cysts or tubal pregnancy or anything forming in my uterus. I feel like the HCG should be gone by now for a chemical pregnancy... my dr said spotting would stop when HCG is 0. Well spotting has stopped and HCG is still present on HPT
