Went in for induction at 8pm Friday 10/21 at 38w6d. Gestational diabetes. Labored for 16hrs total. Made it all the way to 7cm with no pain meds. Couldnt handle it anymore so I got the epidural which I dreaded. For them to mess it up. So 1 1/2 hrs later they gave me one that worked. And I was finally able to sleep for 20mins. Came in to check me at 1130am and said holy crap its time. Pushed for 15 mins and had my perfect baby boy at 12noon at 7lbs 14oz 21in. I thought I knew love from how I feel for my hubby. Love doesn't even describe how I feel about my son. He is perfect and beautiful!
